Terms and Conditions
When making a booking, it is understood that you agree to follow and comply with the following terms and conditions
Dog Field Rules
When booking your appointment you are agreeing to the following rules:
In keeping with the law regarding ‘responsible dog ownership’, you are entirely responsible for your own and your dog’s safety at our premises. The law states that we should be in control of our dogs at all times. This is also relevant in the field.
Honeysuckle Farm is a working farm so please be careful and respectful when on site.
You enter the farm at your own risk and your own responsibility.
Any use of the dog walking field will be entirely at your own risk. The landowner and tenant accept no liability for injury or death to any person or dog.
You are liable for any damage caused inside and outside of the field including the fencing and equipment provided.
There are no rights created over the land, and the licensee accepts that the landowner has control and possession over the land at all times.
Cars are parked, and contents left inside the car, at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility or liability for any loss of property or damage to vehicles on our premises.
Children are your responsibility and must be supervised at all times.
Please stick to your allotted time slot. Your slot cannot be extended if you are late due to other bookings.
Allow prior customers to exit the field and secure their dog before taking your dog out of your car. Other dogs may be reactive or nervous.
Please shut all gates behind you and check that the field entrance is securely locked behind you.
The use of portable barbecues is not permitted.
You must take your litter home.
Smoking is not permitted on site.
The agility equipment is only for the dogs to use (not children). Use of this equipment is entirely at your own risk.
The use of any high flying object is not permitted.
Dogs are permitted to dig in the sand pit, but nowhere else.
Please dispose of your dog waste using the dog poo bags and bin provided (do not use this bin for any other litter).
The booking is for you only and cannot be sub-let (unless with the landowner’s permission).
We shall be allowed access at any time onto the field during your booking time slot to carry out inspections and any decisions made by us regarding safety or fitness of use will be binding. We also reserve the right to refuse admission to or evict any person or dog from the field if we deem it necessary.
Please be careful as the ground may be uneven, wet and/or slippery at times.
Put away any toys or equipment that you may have used or moved.
Please only use the gate at the top nearest the car park to enter and exit the field. Do not open the far gate nearest the house.
Ensure the hosepipe is turned off after use.
Bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable so please double check your booking details before confirming and paying!
Please note that we do not currently have lighting in the field. If you are coming early in the morning or later in the evening and think it will be dark, please bring a torch!
Banned/Restricted Breeds Compliance
We recognise that all dogs of any shape and size deserve the opportunity to have fun, exercise, and train. We therefore welcome ALL dog breeds to the field. However, owners/guardians of banned or restricted breeds, such as the XL Bully, must adhere to all regulations stipulated by DEFRA and any government appointed bodies concerning the ownership and management of such breeds on the day they use our facility. There may also be additional rules to follow put in place by our insurers:
1. The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) (and a copy of the life certificate is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim).
2. A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained (and provided to us in the event of a claim).
3. The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless with other dogs from the same household.
4. The dog is Neutered – in line with Government Rules.
5. The dog is Micro Chipped.
6. The field is private property with no public access passing through.
7. The field is securely fenced so the dog cannot escape.
8. The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field.
9. The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field.
10. You can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured field.
11. If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together as long as they have a minimum of 1 handler. All dogs leads and muzzles can be removed once in the field including the banned/restricted breed.
12. If there are dogs from different households, the banned/restricted breed will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all time with a 1:1 handler.
